About Burris

The Burris Company was established in 1971 and named for founder Don Burris, an optics designer who had spent 12 years working in product design and management at Redfield. Burris began by producing rings, bases, and open sights, then introduced the Fullfield riflescope in 1975 as the company expanded into sporting optics.

Burris continued developing optics and mounting systems for hunters and shooters, adding products such as handgun scopes, Zee Rings, Scout scopes, FastFire reflex sights, and the Eliminator rangefinding riflescope over the following decades. The company became part of the Beretta family of companies in 2002, and Burris’s current lineup includes hunting and tactical riflescopes, red-dot and reflex sights, rings, and bases.

Alastor Armory’s current published Burris selection includes seven products across rifle scopes, handgun scopes, scope rings, and bases and rails. The assortment spans Signature HD and Fullfield riflescopes, a Burris handgun scope, Zee and XTR rings, an AR-Signature P.E.P.R. mount, and a Picatinny riser, giving shoppers a focused selection of Burris optics and mounting hardware.
