SMS terms at a glance
Alastor Armory plans to offer optional transactional and promotional text-message programs. They are separate choices. Agreeing to order or account texts will not enroll you in marketing, and promotional-text consent is not a condition of purchase.
Message frequency depends on the program and your activity. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to cancel messages that require consent and HELP for help. Text delivery is not guaranteed. These SMS Terms supplement the Alastor Armory Terms of Use and Privacy Policy.
1. Agreement and program operator
These SMS Terms are an agreement between you and Alastor Armory LLC (“Alastor,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). They apply when you ask for, enroll in, receive, or interact with text messages from Alastor.
By separately enrolling in an SMS program, you agree to these SMS Terms and the consent disclosure shown when you enroll. The Alastor Terms of Use and Privacy Policy also apply. If an enrollment disclosure conflicts with these SMS Terms, the more specific lawful disclosure controls for that program.
2. Separate SMS programs
Transactional and security messages
If you request or agree to transactional texts, Alastor may send messages reasonably connected to your request, account, or transaction. These may include:
- telephone-number or account verification codes;
- password, fraud, and security alerts;
- order acknowledgments and status updates;
- shipment, delivery, delay, or pickup notices;
- return, refund, or customer-support updates; and
- product recall, safety, or legally required notices.
Transactional messages will not include promotional content. Frequency depends on your requests and account or order activity. A one-time code or guest-order response is limited to the requested purpose.
Promotional messages
If you separately opt in to promotional texts, Alastor may send recurring automated or non-automated marketing messages, including sales, product releases, back-in-stock notices, offers, events, and cart reminders.
Promotional-message frequency varies and will be described more specifically at enrollment when required. Consent to promotional texts is not a condition of buying any product or service. Declining or canceling promotional texts will not prevent you from shopping with Alastor.
3. Your consent and eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to enroll. By enrolling, you represent that:
- the mobile number is accurate;
- you are the subscriber or customary authorized user of that number;
- you are authorized to consent to messages at that number; and
- you will notify Alastor or opt out before you stop using or controlling the number.
Consent applies only to the Alastor program described at enrollment. Alastor will not treat your telephone number, account, purchase, or consent to one message category as consent to promotional texts.
You agree that Alastor may use an electronic record to document your enrollment and may use automated technology to send messages where the enrollment disclosure says so. You may request a copy of your consent record through support@alastorarmory.com.
4. Charges, frequency, and delivery
Alastor does not charge a separate fee for its SMS programs. Your wireless carrier may charge message, data, roaming, or other fees under your plan. You are responsible for carrier charges.
Message frequency varies based on the program, your interactions, and account or order activity. Alastor will not use transactional traffic to increase promotional frequency.
Text messaging may not be available through every carrier or device. Alastor, its messaging providers, and wireless carriers do not guarantee timely or successful delivery and are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages to the extent permitted by law. Contact Alastor through another available channel if a matter is urgent.
5. How to stop texts
Reply STOP to an Alastor message to cancel messages that depend on your consent. Alastor will also honor another reasonable request that clearly communicates that you want messages to stop, including QUIT, END, REVOKE, OPT OUT, CANCEL, or UNSUBSCRIBE.
Alastor will suppress covered messages promptly after receiving your request. We may send one final, neutral message confirming the opt-out or, when necessary, asking whether a broad request applies to all optional text categories. That confirmation will not contain marketing. If we ask for clarification and you do not respond, we will stop all texts that require your consent.
Alastor will apply a category-specific request to that category and will honor a clear request to stop all texts across all consent-based categories. We may still use a non-SMS channel for legally required, safety, security, or transaction notices.
Opting out of promotional texts does not cancel an order, close an account, or withdraw consent to email. If you have an account, you can sign in to manage other communication choices on your Communication Preferences page.
6. Help
Reply HELP for assistance. You may also contact:
7. Re-enrollment and changed numbers
After opting out, you will not receive covered texts unless you complete a new, documented enrollment. Alastor will not treat an accidental reply or customer-service conversation as re-enrollment in marketing.
If you change, surrender, or transfer your telephone number, you must opt out or notify Alastor before the change. Alastor may use carrier feedback, a reassigned-number service, or other reasonable controls to stop messages to a number that no longer belongs to the person who consented.
8. Privacy and consent records
Alastor uses SMS information as described in the Privacy Policy. We may provide telephone numbers and program records to messaging, hosting, security, analytics, customer-support, and compliance service providers solely to operate and protect Alastor's program or as otherwise permitted by the Privacy Policy. Any such sharing remains subject to the SMS opt-in and consent restrictions below.
Alastor will not sell, rent, or share SMS opt-in data or consent with another company for that company's marketing. A messaging provider may not use the information for its own marketing.
Alastor may retain enrollment, message, delivery, opt-out, suppression, and complaint records as reasonably necessary to operate the program, honor your choices, comply with law, resolve disputes, and protect the service. Suppression records may be retained after an opt-out so the number is not accidentally re-enrolled or messaged.
9. Program changes or termination
Alastor may modify, suspend, or end an SMS program. We will provide notice appropriate to a material change. A change will not retroactively expand your marketing consent. When required, Alastor will request new consent before sending materially different promotional messages.
Changing a sender number or messaging provider does not eliminate your existing opt-out. Alastor will migrate suppression records before sending from a replacement sender.
10. Responsibility and legal rights
You are responsible for protecting access to your device and for reviewing messages before acting on them. Do not send passwords, complete payment-card numbers, government identifiers, or other highly sensitive information by text.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Alastor is not responsible for carrier outages, device incompatibility, delayed or undelivered texts, or access to messages caused by your failure to protect your device or report a changed number.
Nothing in these SMS Terms limits a right or remedy that cannot lawfully be waived, including rights under applicable communications, telemarketing, privacy, or consumer-protection law. The governing-law, dispute, warranty, and liability provisions of the Alastor Terms of Use apply only to the extent lawful and do not excuse Alastor from obtaining or honoring required consent.
